About me

Kia ora, I’m Cristina Fon, a registered clinical psychologist based in Nelson, New Zealand.

With over 25 years experience, I provide clinical and forensic psychological services for youth and adults.

I have been in private practice since 2008 and work extensively across New Zealand. I have over 23 years experience working across the public and private sector. I take a non-judgmental, authentic approach with an emphasis on strength-based, value-congruent and culturally responsive assessment and interventions.

I work with clients aged 12 years and older. I am keen to help people realise how they can lead more fulfilling lives, and to remove obstacles towards achieving goals.

As I work extensively across New Zealand, I have a unique perspective and understanding of the differences in geographical locations, culture, and services that are offered in each region.
